The tradeshow at the 146th NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition in Detroit will see many new exhibitors.

There are 138 new exhibitors at this year's conference, according to Tradeshow Logic, a Marietta, Georgia, company that is the association's exhibition sales and show manager. Approximately 42% of the exhibitors at this year’s tradeshow are first-time exhibitors. About 329 companies will have booths at the event.

Bluedrop USA is one of the new companies exhibiting at this weekend's tradeshow, which runs Friday to Monday.

"We are very excited to be here to meet with the National Guard," said Dr. Brett Ulander, Bluedrop USA's chief executive officer. "We’re looking forward to a productive few days."

Bluedrop USA provides products and services for advanced training solutions, including highly interactive courseware, state of the art virtual and augmented reality training, technical publications and simulation products. The company is based in Orlando, Florida.

"[The National Guard] has to be up to speed all of the time and our simulators allow them to be ready to go at a moment’s notice," Ulander said.

Another new exhibitor is Compliant Technologies, which provides non-lethal solutions that empower law enforcement, corrections, security and health care professionals to handle dangerous situations.

"We are excited to participate in our first major military tradeshow," said Jeff Niklaus, the founder and CEO of Compliant Technologies. "We are a 100% veteran-owned company and looking forward to the Guard leadership engagement."

Conference attendees will have several ways to view information about the different exhibitors at the tradeshow.

One is an artificial intelligence tool called the NGAUS AI Navigator. Developed by Tradeshow Logic, the AI is a companion to the AFBA-NGAUS Conference App. The NGAUS AI Navigator allows attendees to ask questions about the conference and tradeshow, including booth and event information.

The AI is available to use on the NGAUS app.

The association's conference app — which is available in the Apple and Google Play stores — also has information about the exhibitors, conference events and speakers. The NGAUS website also features information on the exhibitors, which can be found here.
