Consideration of the NGAUS 2025 operating budget and the pending legislation before Congress will top the agenda when the association’s board of directors gathers this weekend at the National Guard Memorial, the NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C., for its final meeting of the year.

The meeting will be Maj. Gen. Paul Rogers’ first as the association's chairman of the board. Delegates to the 146th NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition elected him to the position in August. He is the adjutant general of Michigan.

Rogers succeeds Maj. Gen. Janson "Durr" Boyles of Mississippi. Boyles remains on the board as the immediate past chairman.

The 29-member NGAUS governing body will also receive updates on the organization's insurance sales and membership and plans for the 147th General Conference & Exhibition, set for August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Board members will also hear from the Adjutants General Association of the United States, the National Guard Executive Directors Association, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States and the NGAUS Corporate Advisory Panel.

Events begin Friday with meetings of the association’s General Conference Committee, Company Grade Committee, Warrant Officer Committee, the National Guard Educational Foundation board and the NGAUS Insurance Trust.

Saturday's agenda will conclude with a reception to recognize more than 15 major financial donors to the NGEF.

The association's board of directors includes six elected NGAUS officers, three directors (Army, Air and adjutant general) from each of the association’s six geographic areas, two retired/separated directors, two company-grade directors and a warrant officer director.

The full lists of every NGAUS and NGEF board member, NGAUS Insurance Trust trustee and member of each of the association's committees is available at www.ngaus.org/about-ngaus/board-directors-committees.
