Issue 44 | Fall 2024

The NGAUS 2024 Conference & Exhibition in Detroit, Michigan is now finalized with REMARKABLE success! The event acknowledged multiple task force priorities and alignment on resolutions and actions that the NGAUS team with task organize to take to the hill for support. Recreational events with golf outings and 5K run. Amazing receptions at the Russell A. Alger Jr. House and the Moorings, Belle Isle, Henry Ford Museum, and concluded with the States Dinner. It did not end with these amazing events, as the exhibit floor had book signings, golf simulators, and educational forums throughout the hall and the minuteman stage. We would think this is enough to make this event filled with activities, educational opportunities, and business opportunities but we did get thrown a curve ball when a last-minute appearance of a presidential candidate spoke on the final day.  WOW!! Detroit Team was nothing but Amazing to get it all done with a successful outcome.

Now we get to move forward to 147th NGAUS 2025 Conference & Exhibition in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 22-25, 2025. We look forward to expanding the activity on the exhibit floor and transitioning the conference educational forums.

There is a lot to do before the conference in 2025. We have the below events that are key to generate network opportunities and business discussions to better support our National Guard men and women.

  1. 27th Annual Industry Day 2024, December 9-10, 0224 (https://www.ngaus.org/events/27th-annual-industry-day)
  2. 2025 National Guard Executive Directors Association January 27-30 (NGEDA)(https://www.ngeda.org/)
  3. AGAUS Winter February (TBD), 2025 (http://agaus.org/)
  4. Multiple State Association events (https://www.ngaus.org/states-territories/state-association-directory)
  5. AGAUS Summer June 8-11, 2025 (http://agaus.org/blank/)

All these events are critical to building a relationship and becoming part of the National Guard family and building partnerships.

The 27th Industry Day is a great opportunity to network with the NGAUS Staff and Industry partners without the constant booth monitoring.  This event is a professional forum that allows for one-on-one conversations and establish those business relationships with staff and industry partners. It is an event you do not want to miss.

We look forward to seeing you at these events and helping you build a partnership in this important marketplace.
