Welcome to the 1st NGAUS Corporate Advisory Panel (CAP) newsletter for 2024. Since we're well into State Conference season and meeting directly with our National Guard customers, we've designed the CAP committee chair sections to keep you well-positioned for effective local engagement opportunities.
The CAP is very pleased to welcome the new NGAUS President, MG Francis "Frank" McGinn. MG McGinn has strong experience having served on its Board of Directors for the past 15 years, which will serve him well in his new role. He's been exceptionally willing to engage with the CAP as he launches his priorities for an even more effective association. Partnered with the NGAUS Chairman, MG Janson "Durr" Boyles, we're already seeing significant advances in operations and vision for future programs.
Your CAP is directly involved, and the "voice of industry" is being heard loud & clear!
For those who may not have joined us for NGAUS Industry Days, I'm also pleased to relay our four new CAP members elected by the corporate community. Please join me in welcoming to the team: Dr. Pete Franks (Blackhawk Aerospace), Steve Houten (Cocoon), Greg Sumerlin (DripDrop), and James "Red" Brown (Valiant). This also means we said thank you & farewell to four exceptional members including: Shannon Shrader (Darn Tough Vermont), Charlie Weaver (Airbus), Timothy Farrell (Veterans4You), and Shane Lake (GDMS). I would personally like to thank Shannon, Charlie, Tim, and Shane for their outstanding service, and it is clear to see the CAP remains in good hands going forward!
