Ron Jensen
Former Senior Writer/Editor
Ron Jensen served as senior writer/editor from 2007 to 2018. He won three Association Media & Publishing Excel Awards for his work.
Prior to NGAUS, Jensen spent 17 years overseas as a reporter with Stars & Stripes, where he reported on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Currently, he is a columnist for The Burg in Galesburg, Illinois. He has also worked for other publications in Galesburg, as well as newspapers in Lawrence, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
An avid Cubs fan, Jensen holds a bachelor’s degree from the Western Illinois University.
