Mikaila Flagg started May 2024, as the association’s new legislative analyst. Her duties include critical analysis of and providing for various legislative activities including bills, hearings and other support documents.
Before joining NGAUS, Flagg worked as a legislative intern for Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., a retired Army Guard aviator who is also a current member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
She graduated from Loyola University Chicago, College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in political science and global sciences and a minor in Spanish.
Flagg resides in Washington, D.C.
