John Listman is a retired chief warrant officer 2 and former command historian of the Virginia Army National Guard.
He worked at the National Guard Memorial from 1987 to 1995, serving as assistant curator during his tenure with the Historical Society of Militia and National Guard, now the National Guard Educational Foundation.
Listman compiled many research collections about the Guard in Vietnam and later worked at the National Guard Bureau.
