Q: How do I join the association?
A: Join online or contact your State Association to become a member. If you have questions about membership or would like to make Active Life Membership installment payments, please contact us at membership@ngaus.org or call 202-454-5306.
Q: How do I update my membership account information?
A: Account information can be updated by logging into your account. Once logged in and on the “My Account” page, click the “Edit My Profile” button. You will be directed to a page where you can update your profile and address information. After clicking “Finish” you will be taken to a screen with options under “My Account Links” where you can update all contact information and change your account password. Membership status and expiration are also available on this page.
If you would like to change your state affiliation, you must contact us at membership@ngaus.org.
NGAUS staff is also happy to help update any information. Please contact us to inquire about information updates.
Q: What do I do if I am having trouble accessing my account?
A: Often an incorrect email address is being used to attempt a login. If you find that this is not the case, please contact us at membership@ngaus.org and we can assist you.
Q: I have two homes and change my address often; do I need to update my account each time?
A: If you change homes around the same time each year, we can add an automatic adjustment to allow your NATIONAL GUARD magazine to ship to the correct address.
Q: How do I get my membership card?
A: Once logged in to the NGAUS website and on the “My Account” page, the yellow box on the right side of the page has the option to print out your membership card as well as a membership certificate.
Active Life Members should receive a steel membership card by mail. If you have not received your card, please contact membership@ngaus.org.

Q: When can I visit the National Guard Memorial in Washington, D.C.?
A: Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. Please contact ngef@ngaus.org or 202-408-5890 for special group tours. Please visit the National Guard Education Foundation website for more information about hours and closings.
* The National Guard Memorial Museum and NGAUS headquarters are closed to the public until further notice. NGAUS operations will continue uninterrupted during this time.
Q: I have money taken out of my paycheck each month. Is this a membership payment?
A: NGAUS will never pull membership dues from your paycheck. Often this payment is made to insurance. Please contact your state association or the NGAUS Insurance Trust at ita@ngaus.org to learn more.
