The Legislative Workshop provides a unique opportunity for Legislative Liaisons and Congressional Affairs Contact Officers from each state, territory, and D.C. to learn about the legislative process and hear from National Guard leaders regarding upcoming priorities and insight on the issues affecting the Guard.
The association’s annual Legislative Workshop is set for Feb. 27-28 at the National Guard Memorial, the NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C. The registration form for this year's workshop is available here.
NGAUS has booked a small block of first come, first serve hotel rooms at The Royal Sonesta Washington, D.C. Capitol Hill, which is across the street from the National Guard Memorial. The association can also recommend additional hotels in the area. Attendees are responsible for the cost of their lodging.
